What the service covers

This is storage preparation. Your car stays with you. We prepare it for its winter rest with a 14-point service.

  1. Engine oilCheck level and condition. We recommend an oil change if it is due.
  2. Coolant and antifreezeVerify level and inspect condition for winter storage.
  3. Fuel systemAdd fuel stabilizer to a full tank of fresh fuel. Run the engine to circulate it.
  4. Brake fluidInspect level and condition, including signs of moisture.
  5. Other fluidsCheck levels and condition. Top off where appropriate.
  6. Grease points and bushingsInspect serviceable fittings. Lubricate appropriate points.
  7. BatteryTest charge, clean the terminals, and connect a maintenance tender.
  8. Tire pressureSet storage pressure to help prevent flat spots.
  9. Tire conditionInspect for wear, cracking, and visible damage.
  10. Belts and hosesInspect for cracks, fraying, deterioration, and leaks.
  11. Wiper bladesCheck for cracking, damage, and deterioration.
  12. Interior moisture controlPlace moisture absorbers inside.
  13. Weatherstripping and sealsInspect door and window seals.
  14. Breathable car coverInstall a breathable cover. Bring your own, or add one when you book.

Good to know

What is not included

  • Winterization does not include repairs.
  • Car cover, battery tender, and flat-spot prevention are optional add-ons. Each is priced separately. We confirm the cost before your appointment.
  • If we find a need for added parts or work, we discuss it with you first. We do it only after you approve it.

Before your appointment

  • Fill the fuel tank with fresh gasoline. Stabilizer will not restore stale fuel.
  • If you own a breathable car cover, have it with the car.
  • If you own a battery tender, keep it with the car.
  • Have the keys available. Make sure we can get to the car in the garage you list.
