Our story

Where Heritage Isn't Just a Name—It’s a Mindset

Heritage Auto Racing & Development started with one goal: preserve & carry-on the art and integrity of vintage performance. We're based in Cheswick PA, just outside Pittsburgh, and our team lives and breathes classic cars. Our founders are enthusiasts who became car guys thanks to their father and the camaraderie of cars and performance. We look forward to having you as part of the Heritage story.

Meet The Founders

A young boy crouches next to a white and red Ford GT40 sports car with the number 1, its rear clamshell bodywork open. Other classic and modern cars are visible in the background at a car show on grass.

Brian Dolan

Brian started racing at the age of 16 at Lime Rock in the Group 44 GT6. He’s raced ever since including in cars as diverse as Panoz, Shelby, Triumph, Ford, MG, Porsche and BMW and at tracks from Pittsburgh to Atlanta and Le Mans.

Charlie Dolan

Charlie started racing before he had a drivers license. He spends most of his working time with computers and software, which is why the simplicity and mechanical truth of vintage cars is so attractive to him.

A man in a black t-shirt and gray pants stands smiling in the engine bay of a red vintage race car with no hood or headlights. The car is inside a workshop garage, surrounded by shelves with various boxes, parts, and tools.

Rob Frank

Rob Frank graduated from the top of his class at WyoTech and has 21 years of automotive experience. He loves to prepare cars to race & win. Rob enjoys making the mechanicals right on “fully restored” cars. He’s the talent behind Heritage and trusted by every customer.
